This little presenter has more features than any other one I’ve ever seen. It even has an A1/A2 switch that doubles the capacity of each button on the controller. The trackball is smooth and makes controlling the mouse a breeze. My only problem with the presenter was the lack of English instructions (I can’t read Chinese). On this point the company really came through for me. I emailed them and got an answer back within hours. They gave me a phone number, I called them and they emailed me the recently-translated English instructions. The print was a little small on some of the scanned pictures, so I asked for another copy and they responded again with a great, large-print copy of the English instructions. They were very helpful and courteous. Really good customer service like I got is hard to find in an internet age. I highly recommend this trackball presenter. I love it!

I am virtually paralyzed except for my left hand, and my left arm is too weak to push around a mouse. I’ve been very happy using a Logitech wireless trackball when I’m stationary and I’m using my lap desk, but when I’m moving around in my power chair, I don’t have a stable surface for the trackball. I decided to try this presentation mouse.

So far I love it. It ships with no software, evidently relying on my computer’s existing mouse driver. This makes for rapid installation. Just put the included batteries in the handheld device,plug the receiver into a USB port, and adjust the mouse settings. It can easily be set up in 5 minutes.

The range seems fine but I haven’t come close to 100 feet that the product description promises.

My only concern is that the buttons are clicky, and I am concerned that they will wear out faster than silent buttons. This is merely a concern. So far, the buttons are doing fine.

I have bought the SP400 Black and received the SP400 Red as present. It is an excellent product in relation to its price. They are the most competitive presenter for Mac on the market.

I tried the presenter on both Mac and PC. They work as described on both.
A minor drawback is that the two function “Start Screen” and “Blank Screen” did not work on Adobe. The customer service explained me that they are made for the Windows PowerPoint as a convenience and they correspond to F5 key “B” key respectively. For Adobe it is possible to change setting of the Keyboard to assign F5 key to Full Screen Mode. This trick would be possible also for other presentation applications for which it is possible to reassign keys.

The black presenter has 2GB memory included in the receiver, therefore it is possible to save presentation files on it and launch the file directly. However I rate the black presenter lower than the red presenter as with the black presenter my pc and mac takes a little bit longer to recognize first the memory stick and after the presenter. The plug and play technology works as usual. Average times for the SP400 red is 2-6 secs and for SP400 black is 5-10 secs. If you do not bother a couple of seconds more then the Black presenter is a perfect for you considering also that a 2GB memory stick costs already around 20$.

I tried the red laser on a distance of about 200m and the receiver on a distance of about 10m. They work fine on those distance. Unfortunately I did not tried on higher distance.

Finally the customer service was ready to answer all my questions in short times.
